About the author

Craig Faulkner is an aspiring writer who isn't sure if he should drop the word 'aspiring' on the basis that he writes or the word 'writer' on the basis he's still aspiring. He writes novels and short fiction in his spare time for a variety of genres, though has a penchant for science fiction and fantasy. He has, as yet, not attempted to get anything published but is working towards that, if only to make absolutely certain that he's allowed to drop the 'aspiring' part.

Born in 1981, but thankfully unable to remember much of the 80s, Craig lives with his partner in Leamington Spa in a house delivery companies struggle to find. There, he is at the mercy of two cats, Steve and Nigel, who take advantage of his good nature in order to get attention and food while they further their plans to take over the world. By day, Craig is a developer for a software company based in the heart of his home city of Coventry. He is also a keen musician, singer, song-writer, reader, model painter, concert/cinema-goer and sleeper, though with so many interests, few of them get the attention he'd like to give them. He has many aspirations and hopes to achieve at least a few of them before the increasingly inevitable apocalypse.
